PRL, KansasBio Enter Regional Pact

PRL Central Laboratory Services has entered into a laboratory testing agreement with the Kansas Bioscience Organization (KansasBio) to establish a regional collaboration. Under the terms of the agreement, PRL will provide price incentives for safety and efficacy lab testing, toxicological testing, and employee health screening services to KansasBio and its member companies.

“We are excited to support the KansasBio organization and its initiatives to grow a regional Pharmaceutical and Biotech research community,” said Christian Darabant, PRL director of business development. “We are embracing the opportunity to work with KansasBio because we believe that our expertise can help accelerate promising regional research that will ultimately lead to better human and animal health for Kansas residents and the global community.”

The region’s start-up biotech companies will now have access to PRL’s clinical services and data management capabilities. Price incentives were also outlined in the agreement and were designed to aid regional biotech growth.
